Five years of loving Handy Oge

Five years ago this morning, I climbed into a pickup truck, headed to Port au Prince, completely unaware that day would completely alter my life - and the lives of so many others.

On July 17, 2013, I met Handy Oge for the first time.   I held him in my arms, not knowing if I would ever see his precious little baby face again.  And I loved him.  Oh, how I loved him.

And God, in His providence, did bring our paths back together in the months ahead . . . and now we are walking the same path.  Together.

There are some stories that can not be told with words.

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!

Glwa pou Bondye.

Now to Him who is able to do infinitely more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
— Ephesians 3:20-21
