Yesterday our friend, author Brian Sanders, asked us to discuss this question:
What can we celebrate from the last 30 days?
Answers from staff and board members included the following:
*Health for all people associated with Haiti Awake
*We’ve been able to continue working, though we’ve had to suspend some programs and make other adjustments for the time being
*The amazing team we have that works together so well
*We’ve been able to help others
*Technology that allows for remote meetings and “face-to-face” communication.
Perhaps the best answer of all, however, was this:
*Valentina now has a sponsor.
