New school year, new challenges, and much joy.
What a joy it is to begin my final year at STEP! I am so grateful to see that I have entered the final stretch of this marathon. I know it will be very challenging, just as it is for athletes who have already run most of the course, but I am praying that God will grant us a peaceful year and allow us the opportunity to meet face-to-face on campus.
I do not have enough words to thank Haiti Awake for the opportunity and the sacrifice it has made on my behalf, offering me a portion of its productive time so that I can attend classes and study. This gift of some hours each week, along with its resources, has been invaluable to me.
I also want to thank my friend Becky, who encouraged me to take the first step to begin this journey at such a critical time. Finally, I am deeply grateful to everyone who has supported me thus far, and to those who will continue to do so in the future.
All this is for the glory of our Savior. May I be a well-prepared Haitian evangelical Christian, equipped to make disciples of Christ so that my community may be transformed for the glory of God.
