A brief look back at 2023

Because it would be impossible to tell all of the good things the Lord did this year, here is just one photo from each month. How thankful we are to still be moving forward, despite the enormous challenges we are facing day-by-day. Glwa pou Bondye.

In January we had the opportunity to go on a field trip to learn more about what our friends do at Ayiti Air Ambulance.

By God’s grace, the prison ministry at CERMICOL continues to grow. In February we enjoyed doing puzzles together.

We had a family get-together in March. What a joy it is when we all come together.

In April Mission Made was part of the Azalea Festival in Wilmington for the first time. Sales were great, and we had the opportunity to meet many new friends.

Steeve and I were thankful to be able to spend a great deal of time together this year. Moments like this in May have helped us refine our vision for the ministry and have honest conversations about what we dream of for the future.

CCS programs grew as more children were sponsored in 2023 and more programs were added, as you can see in this photo from June.

July marked the beginning of summer programs. Puzzles are a favorite activity.

Our 2023 VBS was held in August and was completely planned and implemented by the staff of Haiti Awake and the congregants of EEGC.

In September we went back to school.

In October we said goodbye to Wesly, a faithful member of our staff since 2014.

In November we had two soccer games at CERMICOL, the first of what we hope are many to come. Players for Haiti Awake also included members of EEGC.

In December, Pastor Steeve spoke at The Bridge Church in Wilmington.

Although there is so much more we can share, we hope this brief year-in-review helps you see how we truly believe that our God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we might ask or imagine.

We are looking forward to 2024 with hopeful anticipation.

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
