Graduation is less than two weeks away!

I can’t believe it is already May! It’s been four years since I started studying in seminary at Séminaire de Théologie Évangélique de Port-au-Prince (STEP). All glory and gratitude go to God, the Creator of the universe. I am also grateful for the help and all kinds of support from family, friends, colleagues, classmates, professors, and people that I do not even know.

It was hard and very demanding in terms of time, readings, tests, quizzes, energy, effort, sacrifice, economy and social life. But it was worth it.

I had the opportunity to be one of the preachers chosen to preach in one of the two last services organized every week at the seminary. It went well, but I know I still have much to learn and practice in preaching.

I had some amazing classes that helped me be a better Christian and be equipped to serve the Lord at church, in the family, and in the community. I have had living examples - deans and professors - of servant leadership, humility, passion, excellence and continuity of amazing work. Not once did I fail to find encouragement from a professor, a colleague, or classmates.

The next step is not clear yet, in my mind. But God already has it planned - and perfectly so. I trust Him.
