Why is he back?

We are thrilled to announce that Idelmy is back where his journey began, ready to continue where he left off.

Like many young people, Idelmy has a dream. Since the day we first met him, his desire has been to become a pastor. Over the years, we have been encouraged by the way he has faithfully lived out his faith and remained committed to the dream God placed in his heart more than 11 years ago.

Today, Idelmy has returned to Haiti Awake to continue his education, graduate from high school, and prepare for the next step of his journey toward attending seminary.

We are honored to be part of his story and excited to see what God will do in and through his life.
